I'm stuck on windows due to a strong gaming habit. :X Used mac osx before, i agree with your views. Its streamlined, easier to use, and the OS doesn't take up much needed system resources for bull that Microsoft doesn't even have an explanation for.

although, macs are just as vulnerable to viruses as windows and i laugh when people say theyre more secure.

Nice music though. :D

yeah, but tbh, osx is a bit less vulnerable to viruses, considering any malicious software must be granted admin rights by the user :P

but yeah, osx isnt immune to viruses :P

Its the same thing as logging on as root on any Unix/Linux system, though. Most people use a windows administrator account, thereby granting administrator privileges to ant process started with the account. That's what UAC is for in vista (which really is bull and doesn't help much but to annoy the user) although its possible to bypass UAC via a backdoor loophole, which Microsoft hasn't fixed.

OSX just seems to be immune because people don't really develop viruses for Macintosh, due to the small percentage of the market share. They would if OSX was the primary operating system of most computers.

Although i will admit OSX > Windows by a long shot.

true true, if osx were more popular, im sure it would also be bombarded by viruses. but the fact remains that its still waaay more ossom than windows :D
